天賦免疫(innate immunity)在膽道閉鎖扮演重要角色
膽道閉鎖為引起嬰兒持續性黃疸，並造成肝硬化最重要的原因。我們最近一系列的研究結果，發現體內偵測細菌或病毒的鐸樣受體(toll-like receptor，簡稱TLR)，在膽道閉鎖患者之肝臟，有非常特別的表現，可能為病毒感染過留下的痕跡，暗示膽道閉鎖的發生和曾經經歷病毒感染相關。
